About us

How it started

Alfakit grew out of home lessons: two primary-school teachers were making plywood letters and cards for their own children. Friends asked for copies, and we put together a first small batch.

How we work

We test every kit with a group of 8–10 children before it goes into production. If a child loses interest after five minutes, we redesign it.

What it is made of

Birch plywood from certified supply, water-based paints and boxes of recycled card. There is almost no plastic in our kits.
